Last day at Kennet School

Finally got here. The last few days at Kennet have been a weird and emotional experience. I don't think I've ever seen so many children trying to organise things before.

It's been great being here and I am sad to leave, especially those pupils who have really appreciated learning and made every day at work fabulous. Sometimes teaching is hard but the pupils rarely are. It's all the other things in this system that are broken: not the pupils.

Anyway, when I manage to escape the chaos and get home I will attach the many lovely photos of the last few days.

My fabulous Year 10 BTEC family who were a pleasure to teach all year.

Fabulous effort and pressies from my Year 12's.

Messages left on my board by a whole mix of pupils

Cake for my tutor group leaving party kindly provided by Miss A. Laidler :-)

My wonderful tutor group (D2) during in the party some of them organised for my last day.

Flowers courtesy of D2 and 10EBTEC. Well co-ordinated (if you planned it!)

Presents to take off to Hong Kong with me from D2. Excellent choices Miss Cuthbert!

A lab coat that was 'just lying around in science' that my tutor group turned into a lovely memento.

Pressies from my fab science department and my bestest technician ever for the explosive necklace. (If you don't get it; look it up!)

Thank you everyone at Kennet. It has been a pleasure to be with you these last three years.
